Phoenix Update - 24th April 2015

Having being inspired from our trip last week to the Oxford University Natural History Museum, the children have been very creative this week.

In English the children wrote a recount of their day at the museum, here is Ewan’s recount.

My Trip to a Museum

Yesterday we went on the mini bus to the museum.  When we got to Oxford first we went to a park where we played tag.

Then, we went into the museum and saw a T-Rex skeleton.

Next, we saw a meteor that was millions of years old.

Finally, we saw dinosaur eggs and more skeletons.

After lunch we were able to hold the first dinosaur bone ever found it was an enormous jaw bone – I enjoyed the entire trip.

In Art the children have planned, designed and produced their own dinosaur using various materials:
