Jelly Beans working hard

posted 16 Mar 2016, 12:32 by Philippa Dancey

The boys in Jelly Bean Class have had a brilliant week with all the activities they have done.

In maths they have looked at measuring and balancing objects. They first had to choose an object and see how many blocks it would take to balance. Next, they had to estimate the length or width of the hall and then actually measured it using a metre stick. Finally, they measured different objects found in the classroom and placed them in size order.

In other areas of the curriculum the boys love exploring sounds that musical instruments could make, used Play-Doh to build certain objects found in a park and folding paper animal nets into 3-D animal shapes.
